Create a guest or installer login that can view live data and history without billing or account-deletion rights — hand it over at commissioning so future buyers, insurers and service techs do not need your primary password.

Give the installer guest access — keep owner control

Cloud monitoring is how good installers catch a failed string or a stuck battery before you notice the bill. Create a guest / installer role with view and alert rights; keep the owner login and password reset on your email. Never hand over the only admin account.

Turn on export / import alerts and low-SoC alerts from day one. Screenshot the as-commissioned dashboard and store it with the CoC. When ownership changes, revoke the old installer’s guest access the same week you change the Wi-Fi password.

Test the guest login yourself after the installer sets it up. If guest can change tariffs or wipe history, revoke and recreate with view-only rights.
